Not an expert, but I do know that more info is needed to answer your question. Where is it located? How many miles? Year? Model? It looks like an R version, I have a C. Ballpark guess it's between $1,000 and $2, 000. But that is not including any regional or COVID-19 related adders or deductions.
Finally fixed my bike, changed to a 150 main jet, changed the breather hose (13mm at the airbox although 16mm at the engine, but it seems like a 13mm can stretch onto it) and stuffed it with steel wool, changed my chain and changed my front sprocket. Really liking this front sprocket, it seems to make me sit about 500rpm lower at a given speed, or about 10kph faster at a given RPM when in 5th. So that means I can do about 120kph at 5.5k RPM, where before I'd do 110kph at 5.5k RPM. Need to ride more to see how my oil drain is going to turn out, but it feels good so far. All I want now is a quieter exhaust as I am currently using a Laser Produro, sounds fine when it revs, but it's a bit too loud to drive home in the evening and when I cruise through a town, it sounds like a ride on lawnmower.
I paid $1300 for my 94 C in 2008 with 10,000 miles. I could probably get the same for it now if not a little more. I still go with between 1 and 2k.
Alright I went for a proper ride down the highway with my new rear tire, chain, front sprocket, main jet and breather hose. It performed well although it seemed to get fairly hot and once I pulled in at my destination I saw the bike dripping all over. Looks like oil has been dripping out and flowed all kinds of places, like onto the chain, resulting in it getting flung everywhere. I suspect this is due to my breather hose mod. It might be broken, otherwise I don't see how oil would get out. It was quite a scary sight, but I think it looked worse than it really is. At least the oil level hasn't dropped much, it's just really made a mess.
I found the culprit, the new hose I installed was a bit short and ended up kinked, so no pressure was getting out. I bought a new new hose and redid it and it's a lot better. Of course the bike giveth and the bike taketh, so during what was really a simple problem with a simple solution, I ended up losing one of those square nuts for the fairing and I had to spend like an hour grinding down a nut to fit in it's place. Also trying to fill oil, I ended up overfilling it. It was in the middle of the glass, but running the bike for a bit afterwards it was at the top of the glass when on the sidestand. Is the clutch oil it's own reservoir that needs to be pumped into the sump? My seat has also lost its left thread, anyone got any good solutions? A helicoil would repair the thread, but I think it's a little small for that. Could I attach a nut on the inside and use that? It would certainly tighten fine, just need a way to hold it in place. For reference, it's this bit of thread here. I've ridden a bit more on this sprocket, can't say I can feel any torque missing, but the bike feels much nicer when it doesn't have to rev as high, especially on the highway I can save a lot of vibrations like if I'm overtaking a car. If you're still considering it I would say go for it! I've noticed my revs don't seem to go as linearly as they did before, or maybe it's just more noticeable. I'm getting 130kph at what should be 6k, but it's a little under maybe like 5.7k in fifth.
Sounds like I need to re-gear a bit when I replace my chain eventually. As far as the seat threads go, I would likely attempt a repair with a tap, and if that didnt work I would either cut new threads a size larger (such as going from M3 to M4) or smooth it out and use a longer bolt with a nut and washer on the other side.

My speedo and rev was pitch black riding home last night. - Looking to get some spare levers; witch other bikes have compatible levers? - Has anyone changed their footpegs for wider ones, if so; witch other bikes have compatible pegs? - Would like to get a second set of wheels; what options do I have for wheel hubs? //Snowstorm and no, I haven't tried searching, and no, I haven't read trough all the posts, I'm only on page 149 atm..
KLX250/300 use same foot pegs. You can go big buck or low buck. The front wheel has a number of options for the hubs using the KLX650R, KLX250/300 up to 2008, and the KDX200/220 all having the same speedo drive for the mechanical speedo, but the brake rotor is exclusive to the C and to the KLX250/300 SF supermotos. 300mm Rear hub has no substitute when it comes to the cush hub. KLX650C was the only one. You can use the solid hub from a lot of other bikes, like the 650R, same as on some MX models and probably, again, all the KLX250/300 models. Just make sure it has the 220mm brake rotor.
Been a while since I was able to work on the bike but I have found the following. Originally I bought the bike and it would not start. Someone pointed me in the direction of a stuck valve. I found both intake valves stuck open when I pulled the head and the camshaft journals scored. I will do a better inspection this week but hopefully I can send them to fourstroke works, formerly Jerry Leighton of Stroker Performance in CA, and he can work some magic on it. I'll have him do a vavle job as well. I hope he still works on these bikes... Cams were scored as well, especially the intake cam. Anyone have a lead on replacement cams with better performance? Or even stock ones. The lower cam chain was pretty stiff as well. The upper one was very flexible. Anyone have this experience on the cam chains?

Anyone know of pannier racks for the C model? I don't do much off road travel. I just need a place to stash my gear while I visit sites that require a lot of walking. I plan on changing from the Tech 3's to something more comfortable. I already have a top box that fits my helmet and gloves
