Uh.... what size trail saw, how many people, and just how many days???

That beast is easily 3ft if not 4ft in diameter!!!!

If I had my little WR250, I woulda laid it on its side and dragged it under the right side.

Sorry for the Tapatalk auto-corrected. Why in the world it prefers (twice no less!) show to shoe - I will never know.

At the Coos Bay brewery enjoying a hard earned IPA on my way to a friend's place in Florence.

Enjoy the coast while you are there Trike------One of my favorites is to stop at the KraB Kettle just North of the river on the east side and get a couple dozen oyster to take home and put on the grill -----when they pop open --a little butter and tobacco sauce----good stuff with a cold IPA backer.

    Enjoy.

Thanks a LOT for taking us along. Really enjoyed following you through on this.

But what bike did you really use? Everybody knows the Tenere is too big. LOL

Excellent report. Since you camped out often I'm curious what bear precautions you took...if any.

one. Guess i had no real food in camp tho but no issues whatsoever. Never saw bear sign. Only bear sighting was a little tiny black bear cub ambling across the road 400yds in front of me in AR. Honestly never gave it a thought. Maybe i am ignorant or oblivious or even both.

Tapatalk is nice for quick on the road posts but between my fat fingers and autocorrect... posts can be a mess

Indeed. I actually had a random inmate PM me out of nowhere well before the trip and basically lecture me on how wrong i was to take the Tenere on the TAT. I thanked him for his advice and politely told him to go f%&k off and then proceeded to run Fancy 6100 miles in 30 days across the US via the TAT. What a jackass...

Snakebitten's acronym will now need another letter - TBTDBITW - since the Tenere is now "the biggest transcontinental dirt bike in the world."

On my way up 101 on Pacific coast - what a gorgeous road! About a 100 mi from Fancy's resting spot on a pallet for her trip east via truck.

Will be back tomorrow night, Walt. You can "ransom" your camera battery as soon as the bike arrives. I think a Chaos Mtn ride will be in order.
