KTM NA will give you the cold shoulder on this one; its the dealer's responsibility to ensure the bike is ready for sale (been there done that). The dealer should take care of it.

Maybe they should get you some Motion Pro T-6 wrenches (with the tire spoons) that hold the ratchets, ah, they do everything except make coffee. :evil

My kit came in the red pouch, but I didn't get the smaller open ended spanner (8 & 10 I think..) like Gerg's :cry

If I remember right, when the dealer was putting together my owners kit (manuals, etc) I do remember seeing him fish out the tool kit from a file cabinet and stuff it into the toolbox.... maybe toolkits are shipped separate from bikes and this accounts for the odd silly muckup? Bugger!

Maybe we can do a laser cut steel piece for owners to weld on.... (Passmore / Loaded Inc?) the big nut ain't high torque value!

if it freezes in there and you mushroom the end you'll understand. as a purveyor of fine tools i'd expect you do do it the right way... not the easy way :evil

I'll take two ! If you will ship to Aus (just mail it in a padded envelope I guess ?) I will get it welded to the end of a Metzler tyre lever.

    speak englush laddie!!!

    :scratch

if KTM put an end on my axle (plastic i believe) that has a recepticle for an allen head and tells me in the manual to use an allen wrench to spin the axle and slide out the axle (which ain't hard BTW), then how would I "mushroom" the end?

perhaps a better description of the phenomenon and of the alternative tool would be in order. :deal

Consider it done..... let me know if you want the weld tag longer so that you can trim down to suit your individual application.....and now, what color would we all like?

...take one as a resident of another former (though you'd never know it by how the her old bag highness and her inbred spawn get treated when they visit) holding of the British Empire.

Damn, wife and I need to get our asses to Oz and NV for that "we should...." vacation we never take.

BTW, at the risk of putting a pin in this great capitalist endeavor, but MotionPro sells a tire iron with a 32mm open-end wrench on the end. Look under "new' tools on MP's site.

Almost bought one, but decided to stick with a 32mm socket and ratchet until a more cost-effective/smaller alternative could be found - ordering crap from states cost $$$$ to get landed here in Canuckistan Pesos.
