Thanks man, we got at least one rare moment captured. Nice pictures.

You can touch my guitars anytime, for a cheeseburger in paradise. It was my pleasure to jam and sing with you. Northwoods Yeti said he actually got some audio (he is working on it) and he thought we sounded great.

The last one I attended was great, but this was the best for me, even though it was shorter. Everyone made it great!

All the folks camping around me were awesome to meet and get along with. It was fun to watch a few enjoy something like this for the first time and feel the magic of it.

The riding was excellent. I think finding a group of like minded individuals is key... and that happened. A huge "thanks" guys, for the experience. We had a blast!

As much fun as that was on the 610, I think I may re-strategize in the future. I can see the merits of bringing two bikes, one for street only and one off road only (or barely legal). The ride to Tamarack reminded me of all the twisty roads in the area, (dust free lol) and I wouldn't mind going up into MI again. The new trails were really sweet and I'm sure there are others within reasonable trucking (or "limping" on a light weight bike) distance...saw a few non plated bikes in trucks at the event too.

I do need to throw a shout out to my motorcycle, just in case it is reading this. I pounded the crap out of that bike for several days and the only issue is a broken wire from the forks moving up and down 355,345 times through the trails.

I did eventually find "pizza for lunch" (ok it was a flatbread but we will count it).

I hope the resort folks like us. Yah we can be obnoxious and a few of us are a bit "off" but hopefully they get the feel of it by now. I tried to be an ambassador whenever possible.

I had a chance to say thanks to the nice blonde lady behind the counter . . . she said they loved having us there, even with all the LEO call outs and helicopter dust off missions (those last were sarcastic, showing that she can give as good as she gets).

Is there supposed to be this much flirting at a rally? I wasn't sure if there was some indecency rule.

I cuddled with my "weekender" flask and a bottle of 15 yo scotch.
    Is that sad?
    :lol3

The weekend did help me recharge, which was good as I had to hit the ground running when I got home. My retirement is different than others.

One of these days that wet and sandy tent needs set up in the yard, dried and cleaned. And service the trail weary bike. I might feel a little guilty when I see how bad the air filter is.
