the clock on my bike gains a couple minutes every day rendering it useless in less than a week after I reset the time. resetting time is an onerous task.
the bike does not have the on-board computer. all it has is the trip meters.
any ideas on whether there is an easy fix for this? is this something that can be fixed using a GS-911 ?

    Never heard of this....

The 911 can set the clock but not fix it. Sounds like a computer reflash to me which can only be done by a Dealer.

    Still in warranty?

Nope. Far out of warranty. I bought it used a year ago. The bike was originally delivered in Sep 2012.

I'd asked the dealer to look at the clock and heated grip issues when I took it in for a 12K service 3 months ago but they're useless.
I figured out the heated grip issue (user error) but struggling with the clock as it is useless.

Sounds like a computer reflash could be an expensive 'service' from a dealer.

Go to your Dealer and ask for an Authentic BMW Crystal Oscillator replacement.

Does your clock's performance improve if on a charger?

    What is the crystal oscillator?

Never had the bike on charger as I ride more than 2 days every week.
