The stars aligned, didn't think i could swing this but... Will be riding in out of Santa Barbara early Saturday morning. Will plan on slipping in on a camp site with a spot for my tent/bike. I called Colleen and left a message. Plan on staying Sunday night and head back Monday morning. Always beautiful up there this time of the year.

Benton forecast is 94 high, 58 low. Brown's is lower elevation I believe so probably hotter. Ugh. Hot's not good for beer so I'm hoping the store has plenty of ice. Anyone know if the store carries ice, decent food supplies and cold beer?

Yes And yes on ice and beer, food is basic stuff. Also, it got down to 33 last night. Dress warm.

    re-check your forecast.
best to look at Mammoth Airport as weather reference.
it's in he mid 80's during the day (while we're out riding, and in the 40's at night.

what an outstanding weekend. i cant say enough great things about my first WMRC experience.

First off, the drive from the south bay to the Mammoth area(although lengthy) was probably the most enjoyable drives I've done in years.

A big cheers to everyone that swung by our campsite. Everybody was awesome, and i look forward to seeing you guys and gals again.

THE CHEESE... MY GAWD THEEE CHEEEESE

RAZR led us on some incredible rides. He really does have some aces up his sleeves. For dual sport riding and even advanced dirt biking, he seriously took us through some of the most scenic landscape and on the most enjoyable rides I've done this year.

The only thing that I didn't quite understand though, is how this forum didn't completely fill the entire Brown's campground. That place and the surrounding area has everything any motorcycle enthusiast or family could hope for. It didn't quite make sense to me. What RAZR is helping to put on and offering this forum is astounding and somehow under utilized. Stuff this enjoyable cannot last forever. Take advantage of it while you can.

I hope to see everyone again next year, and also those i didn't get to see.

    thanks again RAZR.

Thanks RAZR. The drive has always been my deciding factor on not going in the past. The drive was scenic and worth doing again in the future. The riding was vast for all kinds of riders. The views were amazing everywhere. Hope to do it again next year.
