Can someone explain to me why this rally is so expensive
I might be interested in joining you. I will be riding out from Massachusetts. I could ride all the way, but maybe trailering with you would be a good option.
Also looking to share lodging at the Beaver Creek Lodge. Two bedroom suite has 3 queen beds. Would be under $300 split 3 ways.
Looking forward to this! If i ever take delivery of 790 adventure R.
Good morning all, I’m new here!
I’d like to attend this rally, riding solo, looking for someone to go in with me on a room at the resort.
I’m a full time RVer. Currently volunteering at Green River State Park in Utah. Yeah I know what a drag no riding here!
Please let me know if anyone is interested or needs a roommate.
TarMack, are you still looking to attend? Looking for someone to share billeting at the resort? They have a double for $149.00 a night. I was quoted $529.50 for Thursday to Sunday. I’ve not purchased rally ticket yet because of the room situation. Let me know.
This is my take. The rally is expensive yes... But while last year was my first one at Park City I'm going to attend these yearly from now on. They provide excellent food (seriously) excellent routes with the ktm factory riders. The riding school with Jimmy Lewis is amazing. It's also an awesome opportunity to meet with like minded individuals and get amazing discounts on great gear from all the awesome vendors that attend. It is just an absolute blast. Ktm is also there for those days to support bike maintenance or any other issues. They have supplied me parts free of charge. It is just an overall experience that I think we as a community are missing.
First class meals and accommodations, factory support trucks and personnel, etc. Factory riders leading rides, etc. I felt it was well worth it!
I'd really like to go and have the time to attend the rally itself but not enough time for the commute from GA. Anybody heading out from Atlanta area that has room in their trailer for an extra bike? I will supply gas money and amazing luck that comes with the the close proximity of a 950 Super Enduro.
Yeah, I'm interested. As long as my KTM790R comes in some time between now and then, i would be interested in splitting a room. $529 / 2 = bargain. Let me know....
I would like to try to attend if you want to pm me I live in south Georgia truck, and trailer no problem!
Got tickets today!
Still need to Reserve billets and aaahhhh what else do I need? This will be my first KTM adventure rally.
Any tips from you guys who have participated before?
I just purchased my ticket as a first timer on a 690. Coming down from Jackson, WY, probably pulling a trailer due to time window with an empty space. Also not yet committed to lodging, considering camping or open to splitting a room.
I have a question about parking and camping...
Does anyone know what is available for parking that’s close in to the resort? When looking at the resort’s website, there is only parking for one vehicle per room that is booked. I’m guessing that RV’s and trailers have to park elsewhere? I’m hoping to just camp out of my motovan (just a standard length econoline van), yet still be somewhat close to all of the happenings.
Foot massages and the bikini baristas. Those factory boys are strapping into those string bikinis for minimum wage.
Now, who needs the brain bleach?
My wife and I booked at Peak One in the Frisco area. Not sure of any good ones (non-RV resorts) closer to Breckinridge.
Missed last year, but looking forward to attending again this year :)
Some of these are not like the others,
There is a public parking lot right next to the Beaver Run Hotel. There is also the Wellington Lot at Main and Wellington and the Peak 9 and F lot on South Park Avenue. I am sure there are more I am forgetting or just not familiar with :) The Peak 9/F Lot being the largest of those I mentioned.
Edit: Oops. Also the Gold Rush Lot at North Park and French
In Ticket bought and Hotel Res made
I’ve seen the videos of these on YouTube. They look awesome.
Several folks just boondock with RVs. near the event in the parking lots used by KTM. Security is running thru nightly for KTM. As vendors we have done this a few times to save $$$.
I'm still looking for a ride for my bike if anyone is heading out from the SouthEast. Just my bike and a gear back...I've got a short window of time so can only do a fly and ride.
