Well that was fun! Big thanks to Silke and company for a great first ADV Rally. Great weather, nice campground, beer, and great peeps makes for a good combination.

Thanks again to Chris, Rick, and Scott for leading me and the trusty TTR around the area. Good times. Next year is already penciled on the calendar.

I have had some good rides during past RDVs, this past weekend some more were added to the list. I sure did have a fine time. Other than the @Mark_O polio that I am now passing along to my sister and brother in law.

I have to admit that I felt kind of bad for the folks that followed me for lunch. Both rides had turn arounds, 1 because of shitty traffic, the other because I just plain missed the turn. The huge bonus was that we rarely had anyone in front of us.

I feel like I cleared out much of the negativity that has been weighing me down lately.

Kudos to everyone that made it what it is.

Kudos to @RUSTINPEACE for the local knowledge re-route out of traffic and on to a great twisty road.

Other than that 10 minute oops in that stau, I had fun.

Agreed. @RUSTINPEACE saved the day. I added 360 to my route back home and thoroughly enjoyed it again. He probably ought to lead a ride next year.

Big Thanks to Silke and all the other folks that worked so hard for the rest of us to have a great time.

Great food and drink all around, thanks to @Pork Butt and his helpers who stayed up and watched the smoker.

Both days, the riding was the perfect amount. The food was very good and the most important thing was how much I laughed at the stops. The whole thing was very good for my mental well-being.

Yes that was me headed for the HIE in Lewisburg WV where the T storms started right after i pulled in. That tent was exactly 400.0 miles from the tent in Murphy

You came out of nowhere while i was putting along. Congratulations :D...you were the only motorcycle that has passed me in 2500+ miles of touring smiles - that will halt for a bit tomorrow as the riding stops for the holiday weekend. I really enjoyed that moment as i never get passed and I wondered if you were on here. Very cool!!. Yesterday was different story running up 219 into western NY. Once i stopped wandering the lumbering pig was a rocket ship. What a blast. I ran the road thru Mingo Flats to see the confederate monument that has unfortunately been desecrated with red paint. dragon 2 2019.JPG

I saw a sign up in Pa on 219 that said
"Just because you are wandering does not mean you are lost."

And here is a pic from the dragon on saturday

I enjoyed my time at the rally with y'all.
