Tom, how are those no-see-um bites doing? You really had a bad reaction to them. Hopefully the "tit" cream is working :lol3

It is actually working very well. They are still visible, but now they look like typical mosquito bites. I would suspect they will be gone by this weekend. Way unlike past years, where they itch and look horrible for a month.

    Yup, that's the bike I saw. :D

I ran through two more boomers after that one you stopped for. Ended up in Altoona that night. I think you were there smarter of the two of us on that. :D

Thanks to Silkie and everyone who worked to make this happen. I haven’t been able to attend one of these since 2015 and this one was a great experience. I met great people, rode a lot, drank too much, stayed up too late talking bulls**t around the fire, and came home feeling like I had been on a 3 week vacation.

I'm still coming down. It was so nice to share time and conversation with you all... and herbal remedies with some.
Thanks for making it happen @Cuttle and volunteer types. Next time I come I'd like to make breakfast Because that's my favorite thing to do.

Now that I am parked for the hell holiday weekend...
Thank you to Cuttle and all for the highlight of my short ride of 2584.0 miles of smiles.

    Now for the hard part
Some one tried to ruin the rallye for all of us

There may be one among us that was attending the rallye who is responsible for the near miss - head on event WE had on beaver dam road friday night when i was returning to my tent in Murphy from the rallye.

Whomever you are you well into my lane and the only reason we did not crash is because i was hugging the right side of the lane just in case there was a moran there like you. You are riding a large BMW? dual sport possibly silver in color. I doubt this was a local rider or some one not attending the rallye. Does anyone recall a rider that pulled in right i after I left which was during dinner.? I am glad this is just a near miss but my heart is still pounding.

Thanks to Silke and Cuttle. Had a great time including completing Trail 82 on my Husky Terra although probably not a good idea on a 400+ lb. bike.
Sorry, I left early as I met up with my son attending Lenoir Rhyne in Hickory.

    Later,

    Jon

We at the campground, Doug and Bud, thank you for the second great year of hosting RDV. Thank you for leaving the place clean and in great shape. We here certainly would welcome you back. We heard nothing but good comments about the rally and we enjoyed it almost as much as you all did. Wished I could have gotten out to ride with you..

    Thanks, again and ride safe.
