It was your idea @Al Tuna
I'll take the blame for the color .... dont scratch it. Mkay
Can you also put a supercharged LS7 in the bike frame?
At Powell’s bookstore in Portland OR last night, found this book:
But sadly it was too rich for my blood:
Meh. From what I've seen, you don't need it.
And another couple of bikes and you could probably write your own
Thanks Phil. I might just have to keep this 550... don’t tell Michelle.
I may or may not have a fiberglass top case that could be painted to match the rest of the bike if you were to keep it
What day does your calendar say it is where you are??

Ah, good old Diarrhea
Well it's been a while since I've updated this thread because I haven't really done much to the 550. Steve has painted the tank and side covers, which came out great!
Steve had this vintage Arthur Fulmer top box at the shop, which he also painted for the project:
Now I have to find a luggage rack in good shape upon which to mount this beautiful top box.
Here she is with the tank and side covers mounted:
Still much left to do, but already what a remarkable difference in appearance from when I picked her up:
Steve now has those side boxes, which will be painted to match the black/orange color scheme.
Looks Great Tom!!!!!
Looks Great Steve!!!!!
I want an epic ride report when it is all done
They really are a still a dam good looking bike, you are breathing life back into that classic. Great job, people will now enjoy that bike for many more years to come. .
