Thought it was weird it didn’t have a barrel adjuster(same as old one). With that in mind, when installing I can only try to do my best with the teeth in the spline and arm on the wheel. I either get engaged with no lever or free spinning with only about 30% brake with full pull. What’s the trick to this?

    Adjustment at hand-lever?
That's typically a place to find closer balance.

Thanks for those videos! I should have made my own cable! The old one and new one aren’t adjustable at lever. Hole that accepts the cable has no threads so universal adjusters wouldn’t work. I thought about replacing levers, but really don’t want to put more $$ in right now. If I can JB weld a nut to the lever that will take the adjuster that might work. I will get some pics tomorrow.
    Thanks!
