Hello gentlemen. I recently picked up an ATK 406 in pieces. I have zero experience with these bikes but I intend to gain some experience by rebuilding this one to rider status--and riding it.
Not going to build a show bike but would like it as cosmetically appealing as possible.

A quick going over of the parts reveals I'm missing the handle bars, controls and every piece of the rear brake system except the pedal.

If any of you could help with information or parts finding, that would be great.
I have found the rear brake parts to be available, so that's definitely a plus.

    Pictures will be posted soon.

    Thanks for any help, guys!

Join the ATK Owners Group on that popular social network. Great knowledge and connections there for the ATK owners.

Here's a few pics of it as it sits. Great news too, I found the rear brake master cylinder, slave cylinder and the hose! They were hiding in the bottom of one of the boxes.
I think all I'm missing now is the brake rod and maybe one of the mount brackets. I'll have to mock stuff up and see how it looks.

You get all the cool bikes haha :D Any updates? Owned a lot of ATK’s over the years but never a 406.

I had a 370 Can Am with a similar engine. It was the bomb!
