Bought this bike a couple of months ago. PO said ran when parked,I think only owner.
New battery, but won’t fire, so just going to clean carb.
Took covers off and skid plate. Front plastics have a couple of zip ties, just need right snap on nut goodies. Everything is there, tires xlnt but did not look how old. Went to reg in Ca and $885 to reg.
They want back fees!! Of course they do, used to be out of the system after 5 years, not anymore.
Engine looks to have never been taken apart and bike would clean up nice, big dent in tank though.
I know nothing about this bike but still think with a little tinkering would be a nice ride.
    Here are the pics.
    In South Orange County.
I do not have the energy anymore and to much to reg in Ca.
    No back fees anywhere else.
$850.00 same as I paid for it.
PS Did NOT look inside tank when purchased as going to put plastic tank on. Rusty.
Not terrible but may have to be Kremed
    Thanks,

Silly computerized DMV. Someone with a legal XL should get this, get creative. The magic button is cool.
    That’s a cool cool bike.

In Arkansas you simply have to sign a non use form, and as long as you haven't gotten a ticket with that vehicle (while it wasn't supposed to be being used) Then they will waive the fees!

All great ideas, all good, but not for me.
    Life too busy.
Tomorrow will put some starter fluid in and see if she fires up.
    Good idea, Bad idea?

    Thanks,

remove tank, put in 1/2 gallon of kerosene, and a bunch of drywall screws and roofing nails etc, shake like hell.

    drain/repeat.

i love these bikes, but I'm not in the mood/have the gusto to resurrect one.

check the oil first, then i don't see what it would hurt.

maybe check for spark first before trying starter fluid.

Vinegar is good too, with the benefit that you can dump it out anywhere safely.
