    So, I got this bus.
Its a long story but essentially I traded it for another bus a few months ago. I drove it back from Indiana and it did great so there's that. Its a great bus but could use some handyman work to be awesome.
    Some specs:
    45'
    Pretty friggin cool
    6v92 Detroit Diesel
    New oil and filters
    2 new start batteries
    5 speed manual trans
    550k miles
    Plumbing is in
    Electrical is mostly done
Nice wood interior is mostly complete
    Insulated
    2 5200w generators (gas)
2 rooftop AC units which can be upgraded with heat.
    Brakes are good

    Needs:
    Some interior trim work
    A backsplash for the counter
    Stain the cabinets
Finish the wayback (I was gonna put in bunks)
Needs a converter for the 12v system
Tires are fair (one is new)
Needs a little front end work (can wobble above 65mph but not always)

This is a good bus that needs some finishing. If you are looking for the mac daddy of RVs, bus conversions are the way to go. Many prefer them to the "stick and staple" RVs of today because they're built like tanks and designed for millions of miles.
I dig it but man, my wife hates it. Might have had something to do with the whole - I didnt tell her I was getting it - thing.
Whatever. I'm asking $7500 or trade for something cool (I dont need any more motorcycles, sorry) but feel free to shoot me an offer.
Its in colebrook CT 06021 but I can deliver it for fuel depending on where you are.

I love this. All kinds of ideas come to mind... However, I'm pretty sure my wife wouldn't react as positively as yours did :lol3

    Good luck!

The bus has around 550k miles. No idea of its originality but it runs great.
Fuel tank is 144 gallons I think?
The black, gray amd fresh tanks are all around 50 gallons.

    Cool bus.

Any idea of maintenance on the engine, clutch, and trans? Any records? Sounds like negative based on your comments.

    MPG in the 6ish range?

    Cruise control?

I don't have any records of maintenance except for the oil and filters I just replaced.
6ish sounds right. Maybe a little more.
    No cruise control.
