I would wonder if aliens or the government brain washed or bribed your "reliable informant"
I would love to! It will depend on my employment status, naturally. Let's firm up later in October.
Photo when they came in cold and wet. Now off for Skyline Drive and the BRP.
Great house guests, but I need to check to see if Janelle snuck away with Schmoozer Cat in her tank bag.
Oh she tried. But we didn't think we'd get far with a cat bungee'd to the tank bag.
And it's still raining but the roads are awesome.
Great. I'm loving the video...especially the drone.....never seen that before. Be mindful going south...rain rain and more rain...and hurricane.
Meanwhile we have been having a heatwave. We took three weeks away and rode to and around Colorado...98F in Denver...mid September! 90'sF plus here in Claremont..we just got home Thursday.
For boots and other gear google CycleGear....they are all over the place.
Again...great stuff..keep it up.....the drone is fantastic.
We did a little trip report in 'epic rides'...tuckers motel and mooch tour
Enjoy the updates and blog.
Welcome to stop here again as well, I'd love to see how the tent held up.
From here you could take that road over Mt Hamilton you missed last time to San Jose.
Hey Doug. Tent is holding up beautifully.
Currently stuck in a rainstorm in Georgia. This is us after digging channels and bailing out water for 10 minutes. But tent kept us dry from the ground up.
Birmingham today and Barber tomorrow.
6 days on the Skyway, Parkway, Dragon and Cherahola!!!
We rode the Dragon yesterday. And saw our first bear.
Both at the same time!
Have a lot more drone vid we haven't posted. Including a lovely crash. I'll find a way to show you
Thanks for the tips. We found boots from Revzilla and got them in NYC.
Don't know what's the go with those Not a cards. We don't need them. I'll chase them up and let you know.
Bear experience up close.
That was a Close Encounter of the Wrong Kind.
I have a friend near Atlanta if you need anything.
Bugger! I just found out about your trip. Aussie in NYC here. I would love to have shown you some of the local riding (though it probably won't compare to what you've seen so far) and moto culture in the city.
Good luck and enjoy the rest of the journey!
Thanks for the thoughts though.
Could go south to Pensacola to see the Naval Aviation Museum, then follow the coast west thru the Redneck Riviera. Stop for a few hours in Mobile to see the battleship USS Alabama and see people lose dollars at the casinos in Biloxi.
Hey Bob. That looks like a good route.
We had decided on HW11 but that's not much longer by the looks. We will crunch the numbers and see how it looks with traffic.
Other consideration is this weather. It's storming every day. We haven't had a dry day since DC and some have been downright shockers.
I'll let you know which way we decide.
A photo of our Dragon Taming on Sunday.
That's a keeper
Great shot! Was there a photographer there or did you set up and redo that section?
These two groups are always there and shoot every vehicle.
Yep. There were 3 actually. We bought 7 in total from all 3. But turns out there's size limits to post on here and only 1 went under.
I'll reduce and post the rest soon.
We're riding into Colorado tomorrow from New Mexico.
We want to be in Denver on Monday and do Pikes Peak on the way.
So besides Monument Park, any suggestions?
