Hi guys, prob a proverbial day late, but i live in GJ. Happy to offer sanctuary and advice for the area if youre still in need. But i second (fifth?) the escalante route. For bryce, save some frustration. Ride to the top first thing non stop. Then work down. The heathens do the opposite. Makes it all mo betta!! If you roll out of kanaab goin south for the grand, a detour thru and around lake mead is time well spent! Valley of fire is a great look also. Comes out just north of vegas. Theres more if ya wanna know. Good luck and sorry bout the weather. Its rotten timing for you, but a necessity for us. Been a helluva drought year. It put out alot of fires and will help the wildlife. Just wish it didnt hit you! Wyn

Hello folks, I just finished reading the thread. I'm always a day late and a dollar short but enjoyed seeing good photos and narration. Brings back memories of long ago rides. Enjoy our nation and be safe. BTB

Moab Utah might be on for spring or autumn, go north during the summer.

Just saw your RR today. As others have said, sorry for the crap weather in CO and now UT, but we are very glad for the moisture. If you brought it, Thank you! On a more serious note, it looks like heading south will put you in even more precipitation on Saturday. Las Vegas looks to be warm and dry though. Good luck and safe travels.

Thanks all for the best wishes. We've been up in the land that internet forgot, or the last storm killed it (Utah and southern Arizona).

Excellent! Glad to see you finally got some good weather. A high temp of 25 degrees Fahrenheit and 2-6” of snow in Denver tomorrow. Stay warm, stay dry and have fun on the rest of your trip.

Great life you two have. Brings back memories from 2013 when we were there. We have had some badly needed rain here in NSW too. Stay cool ;)

My bike has now been over twice. Both gas stations and rolled off the stand.

Second one only a few days ago in some tiny valley town near Moab, Utah, after filling up while getting our gear back on.

    Pride was the only causality.

Janelle's bike has behaved perfectly, although she did save a huge tankslap out the back of Texas a week or so ago when 2 trucks and gale force winds created a hellish vortex.

    Advice please friends.

The time is ticking and were no closer to selling our bikes. (Except for an insulting low ball offer).

We leave LAX on 1st November and are now in Palm Springs but soon to relocate closer into LA.

Ads are on the ADV flea market and other places.

Tomorrow we start going around dealers looking for options or commission deals but does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Sounds like you have to do the dealer consignment route.

Agreed. Ask as many as you have the time to and then compare. Ask which of their current inventory are on consignment and watch for those which the dealer under-prices to make a quick buck.
