I had my own version of the one pictured at the start of this thread.

I simply removed one wings can and ran both through the right hand can.

Can't say I noticed anything at all when I did it and loved the space to store spare tubes etc in the plastic tube on the LHS.

I recently refitted the original pipes with both Wings cans and all I can say I noticed is it was slightly quieter, this I did not notice originally and could be due to the RHS needing repacking.

I bought a centerstand for my Gran Canyon from EVA and it's likely the best aftermarket product I've ever purchased......perfect fit, perfect function.....now if I could just find someone who wants a perfect GC!

I can't belive how well the ole' 950 runs !!!!!!!:clap
    Beyond stoked . A friend of mine and I installed a single Jardine TI oval can for a FZ1 Yamaha (fleabay) . Removed my FMF Q2 or 3 ? 12lb w Y pipe . The Jardine with home made Y , 6lb. . Stock about 23 w Y.
Any how its not the weight so much but the perfomance . I did a short test ride with the silencer cap on it ( a machined alloy plug with a 22mm hole in the middle surounded with 8 6mm holes ) .
If your still awake :snore , it rode fine , a little loud and a rippin top end .
I then stuffed a 4" piece of thinwall steel inside the plug.
Went for a test ride ,much quieter(75 to 80db) but WHoooee :lol3 ! The front wheel kept flying up to the sky :ricky , I know y'all keep talking about this , but we live at 6,230ft . I mean 1st 2nd etc.. even 5th got so light the was dancing around . In the dirt the rear tire broke loose at 70 .Pulls strong after 4500k every gear !

    paper air filter
    stock airbox and snorkle
16 x 45(helps but only felt like this at sea level!)
    6 month old spark plugs
    6 month old valve adj.
I felt like a kid again , short of breath , heart racing ,bummed that the sun went down.
Brought out the HOOLIGAN in me .I don't want it to snow any more .
Amazed !!!!!It feels better than my '01 FZ1 on a good day !!
::::Only drawback so far , right foot feels the heat even more now . All the exhaust gas into the collector , must make heat shield before summer !

You can post direct to the forum with an attachment if the file isn't too large (146.5k).

Just got back from a 200mile road romp . I got 40 mpg :clap , never better than 32 to 35 before . I was on it hard , twisty canyon roads pushing 8 to 9,000rpm out of most corners . Hit 106mph a couple times n still pulling strong (closed course of cource ) .:ricky Had to crank my Scotts dampener !
At lower elevation (4,850' compared to 6,230 home) this thing was super easy to pull second gear wheelies . Sorry officer!
Why don't they (SE,SM,SD,ADV) come with single exhausts ? Lighter , cheaper , Only one cat. ????
We were just doing it to make room for extra fuel .

Lookin to due this also. What was the inside diameter of your silencer? I'm thinking of going with 70mm and a pretty darn long silencer to help with the noise.

I use Smugmug. It's what the Forum uses, and seems to be designed for our purposes.

950transalp asked me to post the pics from the two in one that we made.
This was a quick and dirt just to see how it worked. His bike runs real good, so I will be making one for my self and clean it up a bit.[IMG]
