    Just release the hose clamp at top and bottom of hose and rotate the thermo-switch for clearance.

    As I pointed-out in previous post, yellow A/C power-wire cannot be touching ground anywhere.

    It rubbed the yellow wire straight from the factory, and rubbed the fan.

    I see a few things in the images of your 19-year-old bike that are not "factory"
    Just do what it takes to clear the fan blade and get the yellow wire off the chassis. Stuff a little inch square piece of rubber cut from a bicycle tire for example. Or it may need to be repositioned only a teenie tiny little bit.

    I just picked up a 2002 gas gas txt edition 250. I just finished servicing it before I start riding it. Mine was in about the same shape as the one in this thread. I am in need of fork dust seals. I was able to get oil seals
