    Hi all,

My cousin has a 950 Adv from 04.
Where can he buy a replacement igintion key for the bike?

Also he has the KTM plastic panniers (made by Hepco Becker I believe). Here he also need a spare key.

    Any suggestions, preferably in Europe?

I believe KTM only sells new ignition keys as a blank. So you need a new key and take your existing key and visit a locksmith.

As for the Hepco key try your local dealer. There's a key code (3 digits) in your old key. They should be able to get a new one. Faster and easier is to get two new lock cylinders with two new keys and replace the old.

I bought the ignition key for $9.00. And when I took it to the locksmith they told me they sold the same key, minus the KTM plastic for$2.00. The 04 doesn’t have a chip so save your money. Duh. Like he said⬆️

You don't mention if your cousin has a working key or not. If yes, then any locksmith is able to make a key. The blank is ILCO X270. If you want an OEM style key, you can get the blank from a KTM dealer part #40011166100

If you don't have any key then usually, with your VIN and proof of ownership a dealer can get you a key. Maybe even a larger locksmith can do it too.
