I'm new to Ducati. However, I've scored a one-owner '04 with 5100 miles on the clock. It was owned by a heart surgeon in Atlanta.
It's had service as needed over the last 15 years.
That being said, I want to add some comfort to the bike.
    1. Seat
    2. Lowered pegs
    3. Hard luggage
    4. Taller screen
ANY suggestions for a supplier that still handles that bike? I've reached out to all the usual vendors, including Ducati of North America and am having NO success. Any direction you guys can give it appreciated. The bits DO NOT have to be new. If used, I prefer they be nice.

I've got a set of factory sidecases and the rack from my 1st 2008 MTS 1100 in my attic.

I use a Hepco Becker sidecase rack with SW Motech adapters for my Trax 37l sidecases that I share between bikes.

Dynamic Motorcycle Accessories still sells tail racks (I had a 'long' on my 1st MTS came with a large Givi/Ducati topcase (still have as well) - the rack was nice) and a sidecase rack for Givi cases or softbags.

I fabbed my own sidestand foot from an AltRider one for a BMW.

There are some MTS specific forums with used goods popping up, but most all of the new-factory stock items has disappeared.

Nice, thanks. Handguards and additional lighting are on my short list too.

I wonder if your 2008 cases and rack could fit the '04?

The Ducati panniers kinda suck, I used the factory rack to mount a set of Tusk panniers. Worked really well and was a huge improvement. The smaller Tusk Panniers fit well and don't make the bike any wider.

Yes, the Ducati Performance Parts Catalog (2007 edition) shows the rack and side cases interchangeable between the 1000 and 1100 models, handguards too.

I just fabed a center stand from a 2001 ST4 I got off of ebay for $40. The main problem was were the exhaust comes together on the right side, plus I had to narrow it. But now, I have the elusive center stand on my 1100s

You should fab a centerstand for my '04 1000. Really...you should...

Here you go, I had to widen and shorten it. The left side fit perfect, the right side had to go around the damn exhaust pipes

No worries. Now working to sell my '04. It's a great bike, for another owner. Just too cramped for a 6'-4" rider.
