    2004 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Sixty 5

Extremely nice bike, just finished a complete rebuild for a fun project. Starts in 1 kick, runs and rides great. Needs nothing. Good tires, brakes, clutch, everything.

This is a 2004 Bullet Sixty-5. The last of the oldschool vintage iron barrel Bullets, but the first of the 5 speed transmission. Perfect combo!

I just completed a motor/trans out cleaning and refurbishment for a fun project. I spent way too much money with Hitchcocks UK to make it look as much like a vintage BSA as reasonably possible.

(un)fortunately, I just bought another Harley (springer softail, couldn't pass it up) and really don't end up riding this one. It sits on display in my garage most of the time looking cool.

    Recent work and mods:
Ross racing bigger bore piston, about 550cc
    Right side shift conversion
    Left side brake conversion
Electric start delete primary conversion (kickstart only)
    Solo seat
    Vintage doherty levers
Complete tuneup, points, condenser, plug, carb rebuild
All new cables: clutch, brake, throttle, decompressor, speedometer
    New battery
    All new gaskets

Comes with tons more parts, I had to order everything from the UK, so I got extras. Includes complete engine/trans gasket set spares, spark plugs, fork seals, turn signals, wiring, original bench seat, lots more.

    Clean CO, ready to ride.

Trades considered! I wouldn't mind a cool 70s/80s Japanese bike, or something else interesting. Let me know what you have.

    Very nice!

It's hard to tell in the pics, but is that a small dent in the gas tank?

Yes there is a dent in the front right of the tank, and a few scratches. Was like that when I bought it. I can take closer pics of it if interested.

I agree, I've had the old Albion 4 speeds and they are clunky as hell. The 5 speed feels pretty damn modern!

The grips fit perfectly, but I changed out the throttle with the Doherty lever kit from Hitchcock's. Maybe that throttle tube is slightly thinner than the original.

Price change. I'll do $3500 on it. Need to free up some cash for parts for the Harley springer I bought recently!

bump! I'd consider a trade I suppose. This thing looks nice sitting in my office but I just don't ride it much. Got something interesting?

Really cool bike, thanks! I don't think that would work for me, but I appreciate the offer.

You and BeemerNut are probably both right. I'm sure I'll regret selling it. Unfortunately I just ride it the least out of everything I have (all much bigger cc stuff that is more practical in the mountains around here). The Enfield sits on display in my office most of the time and gets a ton of attention from every visitor!

How difficult is it to undo your shifter and brake swap? Do you have all of the original parts that were removed to do those?

Not difficult at all. A couple hours maybe. Yes all the original parts are included.
