There are a few spot where there must be corrosion under the chrome as the chrome on the inner/lower leg has a few bubbles. Both sides. I see used forks on fleabay but man, I'm hesitant to buy used. I saw one place wanted $400 a side for the inner/lower tube.

To those that have had the issue what are my options?

Hmmmmmm at $400 per side, I have a low mileage 2004 WR450F setting in my garage complete and running fine, I'd sell you the two complete forks for that and the rest of the bike for $1200 more.
