Manual calls for Castrol SAF-XO which I can't find in the Guelph area. What brands and type do you use. Thanks and see you on the road/trail!

It's 75w-90 weight gear oil, as above = GL-5 spec., or better. Most big box stores have a compatible ver. There are dozens of them, if not hundreds.

But one here in the U.S... https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p...dzaHgoj3zsXmJVmWwrgaAuktEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

And a BMW bottle, but less volume... https://www.ebay.com/p/1853138030?i...YS4vhFhez00ujl_eUc1bYy49e97sFgeoaAnseEALw_wcB

And it only requires 180ml to refill the FD. Don't go with the old spec. of 200+ ml!

That's just 6 U.S. ounces = 4 jiggers, depending upon your measurement preference.

    Edit: always a goodie... http://www.jimvonbaden.com/R1200_Final_Drive.html

The OP was asking for source of gear oil in around Guelph (town in province of Ontario, Canada) and yet you provided links to US sources?? :fpalm

Have you ever sent any type of oil from US to Canada, filled out Customs Declaration and dealt with aftermath of such to know what's involved? :confused
