Gus was leaving his bike IIRC right out in front of the swingin' doors. Was yours there too?

I made it home last night, covered with mud/dirt from road construction.
D2D was great...my thanks to all who made it possible!
I stayed another day in Dawson, rode Klondike south to Takhini Hot Springs, camped there, then to Skagway (overrun with tourists from 4 cruise ships), ferried to Haines, then 700+ miles home yesterday. Total 1846 miles.
The 35 year old Beemer (/5) performed perfectly. A 70 mph collision with a frost heave sent the right side bag flying into the ditch and a close encounter with a small black bear darting across the road added a little excitement. Yukon is beautiful, second only to Alaska. NOW that rear tire is totally worn out.
Thanks to all who shared pics...especially AKPhotag
    thought I'd add a few:

Nice catching up w/ you in Dawson, Mags, and glad to hear the rest of your run went smoothly (enough). Hobo made that same ferry xing a day or so prior to you and I just had dinner w/ him and Mrs. Hobo in Anchorage last night. See you down the road.

Hello, all. This is my first post. It was also my first D2D. I'm not too sure about the first D though. Dust? This is a picture of me coming into the border custom station. If I'm not mistaken this is mud not dust! This was Friday instead of Thursday. Thursday I was on a run from Tok to Fairbanks after a fuel pump for a friend.
