2006 D2D Schedule Information

    In an attempt to bring D2D'ers up to date the D2D (counter) Steering committee has developed the following schedule:

    POKER RUN:

    Friday, June 16th
    Registration-12:00 noon to 1:00pm
    In front of the Downtown Hotel
    2nd and Queen Streets
    Depart Dawson on your own beginning at 12:30pm
    $5.00 USD (merican money) per hand. Limit 2 enteries per person
    Best poker hand, five card draw, winner takes all, high card breaks ties.

    1st card - At registration
    2nd card - Dredge #4
    3rd card - King Solomon's Dome
    4th card - Intersection at Klondike Hwy
    5th card - Midnight Dome
    Optional Bonus Card - GPS coordinates (given at registration)

    Last card pick up closes at 4:30pm
    You have 4 hours to run the loop and collect your cards. Plenty of time to stop and take some photos if you wish. Total milage will be about 75 miles. Mostly dirt.


    DINNER TICKETS:

    Friday, June 16
    $25.00 USD (merican money) Drinks and Tip not included
    Tickets on sale in front of Downtown Hotel - 12:00 noon to 1:00pm &
    4:00pm to 5:30pm
    Dinner is at the Downtown Hotel
    No host cocktails beginning at 6:00pm
    Dinner served at 6:30pm
    Prize drawings and poker run finals 7:30pm
    Fukengruver's annual meeting 8:30pm


    BIKER GAMES:

    Friday, June 16
    9:00pm
    Corner of 2nd and Queen Streets (In front of Downtown Hotel)
    Events:
    Slow Race
    Blindfold Ride
    Hot Dog Bite
    Suprise
    Suprise

    You may enter one or all events.
    Prizes will be awarded to individual event winners and the first three
    finishers overall. Points will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event on a 5, 3, 1 point basis.


    POSTING OF THE BIKES:

    12:00 MIDNIGHT
    2nd and Queen Streets (In front of the downtown Hotel)
    All participants receive a D2D decal applied to the front fender of their bike
    Bikes should be parked on 2nd street if possible
    Group picture will be taken after postings

    Posting and induction of new fukengruvers 12:30am


    Now as everyone knows D2D is a ride your own ride type of event. In true Fukengruver style no one is in charge. "You pays your money and you takes your chances". Since the ride is free - you get what you pay for.

    That would be Crag's Boyed you know duckmans friend. the tiger involved in the great bike tip over of 2001 in Dawson. I think a test ride is in order.:wink:
