2006 Honda S2000. Very desirable AP2 version. 122k miles New clutch, pressure plate, pilot & release bearings, starter, and rear main seal last week. (*See notes below.) New drive belt and battery this year. Recent oil and rear diff fluid changes. Tires and brakes have about 4k on them. All VIN stickers present and matching. Completely stock except for an aftermarket stereo (dash controls still work.) Mechanically, this car is in great condition and is a blast to drive. Cosmetically, it has a few scratches on the front bumper, and some minor imperfections elsewhere, but in very good condition for a 13-year old car. The top works perfectly, but has some wear and will need to be replaced in the near future. It doesn't leak, and could probably last another season. Asking $14,000. Will consider reasonable offers. I can pick you up at Charlotte airport if you want to fly & drive. Only selling to fund another "toy" purchase. Clear title in hand. Can take more pictures if needed. *A little history on the recent work. The release bearing was getting sticky. Not uncommon on this vehicle, especially for one that doesn't get driven a lot. Clutch was fine and not slipping, but might as well replace it while everything is apart. Same for the rear main seal. No leaks, but makes sense to do it as there was no additional labor at the time of clutch replacement. The starter was sometimes slow to disengage, another common problem with this model. Replaced with an OEM starter by a different manufacturer that doesn't have a history of this problem. All OEM parts used. Have receipts. I will help facilitate a PPI, and/or give you the name of the mechanic that did all the work (Honda specialist in Charlotte.) I wanted this car fixed the way I would want it if I was keeping it. I am the 4th owner, and have owned it for 2 years / 4,000 miles.
