You can do an IB ride anywhere in the world. In fact, they're even metricized for those who don't think of length in multiples of the emperor's feet.

But a "SS1500"? :scratch Maybe you meant a BB1500 (1500 miles in 36 hours). There are now special awards for doing a SS1000 entirely within a state or province (that has even been done entirely within Washington, D.C.), but I haven't seen one for the Yukon. Be the first to complete a SS1K within the borders of the Yukon.:clap

    Alright!!
Count me and Gail in for sure!
If there will be other riders leaving from Whitehorse for Dawson, maybe we can all hook up and leave together?
    Could be fun.:thumb

Sounds great Bern. You and Gail will have a blast.
Several D2Ders will be heading to Dawson through Whitehorse.
    Latest update.

I'm here!! And yes, i'm in. 33 is as good a number as any, I suppose. And i'll be turning 19 on this one, so it'd better be good! I've been trying to stay away from distractions while studying for mid-terms, and deided to stay away for a while. I'll be back full-time on Friday.

Nice to hear from you SocialU.
    19 at this year's D2D get-down...that's way cool.

Will you be commanding the 2andaquarter Yammy this year or one of Pop's new Translaps?
Keep your nose in the books down there in the Palouse and behave yourself.

Hmmmmm...I'm definitely hoping for a new ride. The no windshield on the XT got a little old last time. I would imagine he doesn't need both of those Transalps...one of them must be for me! :evil I may have the bitty no windshield one to keep me company down here this winter, though. Put some studs on it and hope I don't fall, right?:rofl

I may have an extra R1200GS for you to ride if I don't sell it by then.
You insure it and you can take it. It already knows the way......

I just picked that bike up from the shop today. Valve adjust, etc. Runs like a top and goes like hellfire. Amazing piece of machinery. Being off of it for a few weeks I'd sort of forgotten how much fun that bike is.

I'm seriously considering peddling the toys and starting over. Maybe not all of 'em. Probably keep the GasGas and the HD and maybe the FZ1 and the two new TransAlps. The XT225's likely going to my daughter (I already called the freight company)...

The KTM and the Cub will probably be on the block. Maybe more. Still pondering but am reaching serious mode. Gotta think a little more on this but the idea of having 8 bikes is beginning to seem ridiculous. Two or three really ought to cover it.
