What do you guys think of a 3.5 lift and then using a hitchrack for a dirt bike? Any worries?

Have you hauled the bike previously on the hitch ? If all was good, I would not have any concerns with the lift.

For long distance tours with bikes I like pulling a simple trailer with 2 bikes and also have a full sized wheel/tire on the trailer.

I see the rubber trim on the side of the windshield is lifting. So was mine. I used RTV & tape overnight to reseal it.

That was from Day 1 at the dealership--I did not notice that until we got home.
I called the Dealership and they said to bring it back and they would fix it.
I never did but you got a good eye and now it will bother me until I get it fixed.
    Really--good eye.

I have it too. First the driver's side now both sides. Need to do the RTV/tape routine but will probably wait for warmer spring weather.

    Lifted!
I'll take better pictures later, but I have to leave town for a couple days.
Definitely need taller tires to fill the extra space.
Still need to have an alignment done and tweak the muffler pipe. Lifted.JPG

I just received my Journeys offroad 3 1/2 inch lift kit in the mail. I got an estimate of $500.00 from a local 4x4 shop.

I replaced the stock 235/55x18 inch wheels & tires with 245/65x17. Firestone AT tires. No issues with clearance.

Awesome. I think I am going to do the same to my 2007 AWD. I will leave my 2014 AWD alone.

What tire pressures are you running? I've been using 40/38 (F/R) and tire life is still just ok. Will probably just get another set of Michelin XLTs from Costco as they have another sale starting next week. Probably get an alignment too since it recently turned over 100k miles.
