Yeah, CCO hasn't worked for me since I've been on the board. :bluduh Best I've managed so far is a stop-by in '06.

When you get to crunch time in terms of ordering, etc, lemme know and I'll give a firm yea. :deal

I heard an evil rumor that BuckRider was going to be leading the small bike ride this year.... Is that so he can't push you off the trail again this year ??

He was looking for Jeff's bike, it had a bad habit of taking hard left turns on the trail and ending up in the woods...

I was on the fence, since I haven't been to the new location, but had done a lot of "helping out" in prior years.

But hey if its Robs birthday and Chacifier is going to be there, well hell count me in !

Fun single track. Some hidden rocks because of the grass, but not all beat up and nasty like some of the MA forrests.

    Honestly - I'd bring both.

I wore out Dave (well - not really, I think I just scared him with my vertical height) by day two, but with both Dave and Mark riding it is a spirited pace.

Note mud patterns on bike (mine is the 400, his is the 250):

Dave tried passing me going into a bit of a muddy section....I had no choice but to pick the wrong line and roost him into submission....:lol3 He wasn't too happy about it either....he is such a graceful rider, and I must have made him look pretty bad with all my bouncing off trees to keep up with him.

There are a few washouts with deep ruts I wouldn't take the HP2 through, but otherwise I got the Dakar through the year before without much effort.

There is one section of giant water bars (more like supercross jumps) I'd love to see you try and launch the HP2 from - don't ask Dave about it though....

There are some pit races to:

Depending on the weather, you can spend one day on the Orange bike, and the next on Blue (or vise versa).

I will warn you - there were no training beers the past two years....just real keg, micro-brews...very tasty, but a little filling (messed up my otherwise petite figure...:lol3 ).

Oh, and credit to Tony for these pictures.

what the official story on trailers at this event? toy haulers allowed or strictly tents? any trailers under 14'? i really wanna come. my 12' trailer has no running water, just bed, table, closet, me, and my klr650.

Data Daddy rode his KLR from Alaska after doing the the Al-Can 5000. I used to ride my 400 from CT. Call me jaundiced, crusty or an ass but it is my belief that a motorcycle event should be ridden to.

I know RVs and trailers allow people to include their families on vacations and sometime spouses have mobility or medical needs but at CroMag we ARE your family. So set up a tent, drink your beer and fall asleep with the other inmates snoring in the field. :freaky
