Id guess @ sign up since right after the riders meeting you're hitting the road/trails.

Due to changing circumstances I do believe I could be persuaded otherwise. :evil :lol3

Had to make sure this morning that there wasn't a conflict with the ride and I would miss it altogether but :zilla dodged a bullet and the graduation is on May 14. I am putting a force field :norton on the Big Adventure weekend and I suggest you all do the same.

    That's great.

The "everything else" BBA thread is here. It needs a bump anyway.

I'm not Trailboss any more, but seems to me the time to chose would be when you pick up your Route Sheet at signup. Unless they want to give everyone both sets, which is a lot more paper.....

Yeah, I agree but I didnt want to speak for the club in case something changed.

I dont think anybody would have the need for the 2 route sheets, apples and oranges. The route sheets would run out sooner as well.

Is AMA membership required for this ride?

I see NETRA isn't, but an additional donation in lieu is.

No, AMA or NETRA is not required for this event but you are correct, an additional $5 (donated to the charity) will be added to your entry fee if you arent an AMA member. NETRA membership is only required for their Turkey Run's, Enduro's, etc... not the Dual Sport rides.

I was laughing to myself when answering, thinking how I knew nothing about any of this a few years ago. If I could spare the time, I actually would join BTR.

Seriously, you only have to come up once in a while, pay the paltry yearly dues, get some really cool BTR decals, maybe a BTR sew-on patch from the General. I'll even get you one of our new BTR riding jerseys.
Once a year you could do a family vacation to, say, Prospect Mtn. for a long weekend and we (Gargoyle, Rocket, Vince, me) could go riding one of the days. Think about it.
Shoot, LI Mike comes all the way up from the Floral Park area. Another member lives in Ardsley.

    p.s. got your check.
