I'm going. Not sure if I will be arriving on friday or Saturday but I do know I will be staying until Sunday. If anyone else is riding up from NYC and wants to tag along, feel free.

I hope to be there again for my third year. I do like the free dual sport class with the excellent ride UP the mountain. The class is great for bigger bikes but offers something for all. Made it on a Wee last year but have MUCH more fun on my XR650L the year before. Coming down the steep mountain on the Wee was more stress than fun. This year I'll bring my XR400R by trailer. However, due to my bike choice and decision to bring family, I will skip road rides this year.

The demo rides are fun too.

I plan to bring my family and camp out if weather is decent. They can enjoy Octoberfest food, music, dancing, and activities while I ride for a couple hours.

They're having the real deal paid BMW 2 day off road school up there, do you know for sure if they'll still do the free DS class?

I'm planning to head up for the two-day BMW off-road class beforehand and stick around for Color in the Catskills.

I was thinking about trying to rent a condo; last year, my girlfriend found one via craigslist that was comparable to one night at the fancy place on the hill, and yet it was still walking distance to the base lodge.

    and a road flair.
I hear there are plenty of pallets.

Camping again possibly in the parking lot This could really turn out to be a big ADV event.

Whats the chances of a big yellow GSA being there with Texas plates

...BUT, i just heard from family that lives down the road that route 23 and 23a (right at the mountain) washed away, so we'll see how it goes.

Is this an off road event - or is it just a general get together that has organized road rides and they let you ride on the mountain service roads?
