Jeff, Sean, Eric and I will be heading out from Wolfs Den around 9 am both Friday and Sat.
I won't make it this weekend, but as mentioned, we ate at the Moose Cafe near Dwight last weekend. recommended and easy to find....no generic name.
and me too
The Brown Bomber got banned??????:huh
Man that guy has shit for luck! First the bike won't start and now this?
That crotch shot must have done him in
Saw Gary, Jeff and Sean at The Pav. in Baysville at lunch today, 2 more supposed to show up tonight. It was 6 deg. and in between showers, I hope it clears up for them. I was bailing from our canoe trip due to failed tent seams, at least we had 2 nice days up there.
No way ..
The trail riding was great fun! It was nice to do the "Forgotten Trail" on a proper motorcycle this time. I did it back in 2003 on a Honda RC51....I was trying to take a shortcut to Mikisew Provincial Park. My Sportbike buds are still angry with me and hate talking about it.
Wolfden is a great place, that was my first experience with a bunk house sleeping arrangement and shared main lodge set-up. Sorry if my snoring woke anyone last night
The other Wolfden visitors from Europe called us "motorcycle people" and they asked me why we are here. They looked at me strange when I told them we just did over 300 kms on various gravel roads and dirt trails for fun.
Another excellent adventure! Thanks
Was a great weekend of riding, met some new riders, was a good time. Saturday started out cold with a few flurries but by noon turned into a nice sunny day.
Thanks to Head North for showing showing us the area.
If you look close the snow flakes are falling

I'll chime in my thx to everyone for the great days riding....and of course for the great food after.
and thx as well for taking the time to post the pics (coulda skipped the one with my mug - there must be a delete button on that camera you are not yet familiar with).
And what was the bit about the Amco barrier? I jave no idea what Harry was talking about...the grassy 'resting' area, now that's a different story.
oh yeah and thx headnorth and (soon to be) mrs headnorth for bringing me beer. mmmm-beeeer!
Right on guys, looks like you had a good ride. Nice to see you finally got some sun.
It was good see you guys on Friday, if only for a minute or two.
Till next time, Todd
Hey guys, I had to miss the ride. But by the looks of the photos, it's not yet peak leaf season. When do you think it will be? This weekend? Or the one after? I've got 2 vacation days left to use, gotta figure out when to use them. I'd love to head out this weekend with the awesome weather, but Thanksgiving family commitments...
Interestingly the leaves were about 50% 2 weeks ago in most areas. When we rode through the park to the east it was much brighter. More like 75%. I would bet peak this weekend in the park but it will be Halloween before we peak in the south.
thanks to all the guys for some great riding and beers after. Ive got a couple of pics but you will have to PM me if you want a copy. I still have to figure out :huh how to shrink the file to post it.
till next time
Who's that riding the Ducati Elephant?
That's Harry Stothard
A geez, see what happens when you leave town, your starting to forget who we are:eek1
I thought it must be Harry, but didn't know he'd planned to join the ride.
Hope ya'all are well in Ontari-ari-ari-o.
