Its a rally bike, ready for Dakar. Similar in price to previous offerings and what it would cost to build your own. They're not trying to sell this to Joe Starbucks.
Out of curiosity, how hard would it be for Joe Starbucks with a fat wallet to buy one of these rally-ready beauties for some dual-sportin' fun? (My name is not Joe, I think Second Cup has better coffee, and my wallet is so thin you could see through it)
Sweet! I'll have to start saving up now - no more recyclables to the curb for me. Gonna take them to the depot and get my 'Rally change'.
LOL, gotta love the pic above - (no offence intended) full BMW gear on a KTM Rally bike with smooth tyres (read dual sport/ road tyres) Love that pic
Touché! What can I say, we built him a second wheel set for road use and were just running it in that day.... <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Dv2y06AEiSo&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Dv2y06AEiSo&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> It's been to Africa twice since then. Still with full BMW gear, though...
you will only need to turn in about 760,000 5 cent returnable cans...exchange rate fluctuations not calculated for.
I am one to speak, i also have full bm gear and 2 ktm's. at first glance it just look so wrong... if you know what i mean Mike
There is a link in the racing section that states the motor is a modded XC-4. Do you think there will be any luck at having this motor in the EXC/XC-W line for 2012?
Does any of you speak spanish (I think it is) http://www.befurious.com/wp-content/uploads/Marc-Coma-Rally-de-Cerde%C3%B1a-2010-Befurious.com1.jpg in this article: http://www.befurious.com/marc-coma-gana-el-rally-de-cerdena-y-jordi-viladoms-acaba-cuarto-y-segundo-en-450/ is it relevant to this discussion?
Rally Change!!!! Yeah I should be saved up by 2020! Yeah pics man, I need some motivation to hit the highway to pick up recyclables..........
Nice bike! Is that fairing from Alberto in Italy? First time I see the rear Safari tank as well, it's not even on their website yet.
