    Ok, so who's going?

As usual, the ride is the Friday and Saturday following Thanskgiving - which is Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26 this year.

Go to www.labarstowvegas.com for all the details, event flyer, and mail-in registration form. They keep saying they will have on-line registration available too, but haven't seen that yet.

The ride will start in Palmdale again, and finish Day 1 in Barstow. Day 2 starts in Barstow, and ends at the Orleans Hotel in Vegas. There will be a Saturday night reception at the Orleans.

It's a great ride! Not sure if I'll be riding my GS or my TE310 this year, but I'm definitely riding!!!

    Who knows at this point?
Life is only being lived one day at a time right now.
Hoping to pick up a small bike by then.

The Adv route will be NooB friendly. And you can always jump on the regular or hard way for a bigger challenge. And there are some parts that will be a real workout on a large bike :lol3

Left a lung in the sand last year. The "hard way" through Red Rock Canyon at dusk was incredible. Not really the best place and time to be on a 500# bike, though.

Especially since the boulder field has really moved around this winter.

    I'll probably be doing LA-B-2V.

He was in trouble for sure. Don't think he made it all the way.
I don't think they were bar years. Even his son looked like an old geezer.

I think the oldest rider last year was over 80. And I gassed up at 4 Corners on the first day with a guy on a 1954 Triumph. You meet all ages of bikes and riders on this event!

Im going to try and make it this year as well. I think we road together a little last year. I was on an xr4.

This year Im going to try and do all the hard ways. We will see if that happens.

Plus my lady is actually excited for this event. Just gonna cost me a few days in vegas.:evil

Yep, we rode the last half of Day 2 together last year. If I ride my Husky, I'll be looking at the hard ways. If a ride my GS, I'll be taking the Dual Sport route (not the adventure route) but have to be picky about which hard ways to take.

Sounds like a great ride. I'm in for the dualsport or non-hard route. I've done some crazy stuff :eek1 on the GSA already and it's just not worth it.
