those idiot cagers, I hope you guys are alright and healing well. I'll do anything I can to help too.

After our talk and my failure to ride in the cold, I bought an electric jacket in the flea market.....

I would have to stop riding to write a book! :eek1 There is no one I would rather ride with than Sheryl! Now if I could just get her to ride her own dual sport moto. I have followed a couple of you RRs, and will be duplicating part of your Labrador ride in the future.

Thanks for the offer, but the bike is now a a friend's house near a dealer in Greenville, MS.

We are at home and doing well. I can ride now! One bike is in Greenville, but there are still three at home! :clap

Sorry I have not got the pictures posted yet. A second set of friends brought us from Greenville home to Clarksdale yesterday around noon. At about 6:15PM yesterday Sheryl was talking to Betty. Her and her husband came and picked up our moto in Natchez and we had left it at their house since it is close to the moto shop. Betty and Danny had went to their lake house and while she and Sheryl were talking she received word that their main residence was on fire! :cry We left immediately headed back! There is substantial damage to part of the house, but it is repairable. Danny built this house himself about 14 years ago when the prior house burned to the ground due to a faulty electrical appliance. The moto was OK, as well as both of theirs. :clap

BTW, my bruises have been getting darker and darker. I even have some very private parts that have turned purple! :eek1

I'm really sorry to hear about the crash, but glad you came out relatively unscathed, that is no parts missing or broken.

Which bike were you riding??? Gonna be a total???

It was the Goldwing. It should not be totaled. It will need a faring, full front fender, a new bottom portion of the left fork, a right rear crashbar and a few other items.

That is a pretty big yellow moto with matching helmets and bright lights to miss coming up the road, ain't it? :evil I know we were in his full view, because he was in our full view. :deal

Donnie, I'm sorry to hear about your accident. Thank goodness there wasn't more damage. I hope that your bruises are healing nicely--the color range for a single bruise over time is quite fascinating, isn't it?

Thanks! The bruises are still getting darker and my back is getting stiffer, but helping with the friend's house yesterday helped me gain some mobility. I will get back to a mini version of my exercise routine today.
