The old Datsun #85 is driven by comedian, podcast and carshow host Adam Carolla....He loves his old cars

Comments on that are interesting. I am of the "it is sad it was crashed but they will rebuild it and old race cars should be raced again" camp. So..."it'll buff out!"
I agree with the article...it can be fixed, and at least it was doing what it was ment to do. It will not be long before people will not hear the sounds of those cars....there is something magic about engines like that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tU0r99fyD0U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z83Ltk1bzK0&feature=c-shelf-119
Oh sheet! I wonder how the hell I missed that the whole weekend....well yes they will rebuild it and it will race again.
Can't resist the urge to post pic's of mine from back in the day. Both 69's. Foundational to my life long passion with speed, power and motion...
Very AWESOME ! Reminds me of the couple of times I went to the Historic Races in Steamboat Springs ! Now that I live 3hrs. away I'm going to have to get over there for next years' race, before some kind of B.S. ruins it like Steamboat ! Thanks for posting....now I think I'll go jump in the old Mini for a spirited run down Hwy. 49, I think I hear the "Little Dragon" calling....

Same here but mine was a 72. I still miss my 510 and will have another one someday. I keep seeing this girl driving round in one that looks exactly like that red one of yours, but is way neglected since I bet she got it ina divorce or something and she definitely isn't a 510 type. I even remember seeing a guy driving it for years around town when it was cherry. Sounds like it has a six in it too. Anyway, someday I will see her again and try to see if she might sell it.
