I knew of a guy that would invite cops to his house to buy motorcycles and trained his dog to lick the motorcycle helmet of the off duty cop so that it.smelled like wet dog for an entire weekend. Sick world we live in.

708 total miles for the weekend.
This was my first ride off of the forum and was not sure what to expect. But I must say Great Job to Woodsrat and all others that were involved. :clap
GPS route was perfect! Details via forum were spot on!
Thanks to Rusty, Ron, and Mark as we ended up riding together for both days. Always good to meet new friends.

Sunday morning was pretty chilly and the tent campers gathered around the fire.

Garbor and Tim both were having battery issues and had to use the hill to get a jump start.

The secret meet-up spot. Looks like a few found the place.

Tim's GS. Think he rode it to Alaska recently.

John's KLR. He just got back from the 'Forever West' trail.

I was in my usual back of the pack location when just outside French Lick, a car coming the other way is flashing it's lights. I get this bad feeling as I crest the hill and see bikes parked everywhere and a car in the ditch. Ohooo sheeet, I sez to myself

I was soooo glad no one was hurt.

Gabor's KLR was running on fumes, so we headed to Crouches Market in Pikes Peak. Durn, if they weren't closed so Tim and Gabor looked for a suitable gas transfer device.

Couple 'Monster Energy' cans-o-gas and Gabor is all set.

Enough time for a little screen cleaning. Mom would approve!

    Damn deer are everywhere.

From Pikes Peak it was just a short ride up 135 to 46. I was on fumes by then and filled up my tank the full 3.1 gal. Last time I did that was the first time I filled it.

    Said our good-byes to everyone.

Josh and I ride back south. Made a quick stop at the Medora covered bridge.
