That's my goal, I want to ride, not pilot. Unfortunately that drone will fly straight into a mountain if it thinks it's following you. That's getting ready to change though

Oh, I thought some of those shots were taken from lower than the hills and maybe it was avoiding terrain. That seems like it will be an improvement for sure.

Anybody put a 2012-16 Vortex ECU on a Dyno? Lots of seat of the pants comments on forums but I've not seen and actual pulls and plots. I'm looking for AFR data on the fueling maps. Anyone have real data?
    Thanks-

Went to the local MC park today in an attempt to shakedown the changes I've made.
Need to work on damping of the rear shock a bit more.

    Almost perfect weather ....

Suspension tuning is a complete mystery to me. What exactly is the bike doing that you don't like and how will you adjust the damping to fix it?

    Me too ...

The front was skipping over baby heads and washboard ruts at a very moderate speed.
First I softened compression on the forks in an attempt to allow the forks to absorb the bumps.

After I adjusted a significant amount (10 clicks) I thought maybe the rebound was slow on releasing the forks to extended in order to get ready for the next bump.
So I began softening rebound in order to make the travel softer, both in (compression) and out (rebound).

For the rear, I was working to make sure I didn't bottom out.
    That's when something breaks.

It might not be the best or correct method, but its a start.

I went to the MX park as well. Made a few changes leading up. Pulled the back rack, kick stand, 3 pound Baja Designs headlight, and ran minimal fuel. I cleared every jump but the 90 footer. I ran the GP and will chop up a little vid tonight. Here's a few grabs.

I was the only machine with a horn and turns. And stupid Cheater tire ha!

I don't know shit about suspension.

Thanks for the NMOHVA RCR promotion. Great video coverage with the drone.
I've been looking at getting a drone for the same type of activity.

As always, amazing video and great music selection. Keep 'em coming, it looks like it's going to be a long winter here.

A lot of production to that vid. Here’s about the exact opposite :D

Here is what the 2020 500's will do right off the showroom floor...(sorry this one has the white plastic but you get the idea)

Pretty amazing with the right man behind the throttle..

Do they not get the freakin' huge tail fender and rearview mirrors on them down there? More importantly the ecu map might be totally different than USA.

    Anyways, very cool video

That guy has star power. He could be the next Crocodile Dundee or something.

It would seem this is the 2020 FE501 not the FE501S.

Was exactly how my MY14 FE501 was delivered here in the states along with the ECU loaded by the dealer with the unrestricted Euro map.

That rider has some pretty amazing talent on both types of courses.

    Ignition key relocation ...
    2019 500 EXC-F
    lobster claw hands

Added Probend CRM guards and EE risers.

Tough to access the ignition key ... impossible from the top easier from underneath.

Is there a relocation kit out there similar to HBD?
I really don't want to have to change to the HDB top clamp.

Has someone cobbled together a homemade solution?
Maybe carve away a portion of the number plate?
