Any body have a name or link to the guy taking pictures yesterday?
Don't know his name but he is taking pictures for AMA and the pics will be posted soon on AMA's site.
Having questionable weather, fast moving clouds and a few sprinkles at 7 am just makes it better when the sun and blue sky BUSTS OUT! The soil conditons for us dual-sporters was about as good as one could ask for.
I do want to say that you and your crew covered all the small stuff right - parking - sign-up - rider's meeting. And it's the 'small stuff' that makes the 'big stuff' come together for a great event.
There were no 'corrections' for the route sheet at the rider's meeting - that was a first for me. Trail and roads were amply marked (good for rookies). Instructions about the sweep crew vs. the highway patrol option - all really important things to know. It's important that these meets are 'user friendly' for those just getting into the game.
Thank for all of your work (Bill K.) and your crew. I know it's a labor of love - and your dedication to off-road riding and riding rights shows.
Thanks for a great time - my money was well spent!
Let's do it again - next Spring !!!!!!!!!
You guys put on a class act event! Had a great time today with perfect roads and great scenery! Thanks' for all you guys do!
+1! I too had a great time and want to go again! My thanks to all of the volunteers who made it happen.
Turned out to be a wonderful weekend. The rain Friday night took the dust out and made the trails and roads perfect. At last count i saw bikes with numbers in the 280s,good turn out. No major problems all went pretty smoothly.I know there will be a big donation to the local fire departments from the proceeds. What a sight to see was at the gas stop on Saturday seeing 200 motorcycles filling up.Now that shows an impact to the community of what off roaders and adventure riders are like. Again thanks all of you who came out and layed down your hard earned dollars to make this happen. There will be some very happy fire fights. See on the trail Sissy ( Steve )

hehehe...cool...how many tries did it take you to get up the hill?
Well I never really made it straight up it without stopping but the 3rd attempt I didn't turn around and go back to the bottom and just started from where I killed it and finally made it to the top.
It was very challenging for most of the riders I say. Even for those orange bikes.
must be steeper than it looks
It was pretty steep. Too bad you can't really tell on the video. I slid down the hill probably 15 feet or so when I fell over...:huh
The video does not do this hill any justice it was vertical for about 20 feet in the middle with large rock exposed then once you got past it there was about a 20 foot section of roots. Thanks for posting it Indy look forward to seeing the rest of the video.
We all start out as noobs but you didn't give up and you did make it, that's a plus in my book.
Mgorman were you there and I missed it?
No, too much going on. He had mentioned earlier his attempts and ascension of the hill. At the last event he clean a hill on the 1st try that flustered many.
Still no picks.
Ok, here's my pics from the Sunday Adventure Ride. Rode with mobyfubar
Saw the sunrise
Bill K gave the day's instructions
It was cold in the morning
Coolest bike we saw that day
The glove donning ceremony
... times two ...
And we're off
Sun came out - beautiful day
We were lucky to have Benly as our fourth rider in our group
First month with the new Tiger has been good fun so far
We did the "trail section" and came upon the mud hole
The clean line is to the left
Buckeye56 likes ADV
water hole turned bike wash
Plenty of gravel roads
Benly heads out after lunch
On the way home, I did a little bonus riding. End of the pavement means good times ahead.
On the way home, the sunset is immenent. Sunrise to sunset - a good day of riding.
Great pictures....I clearly missed out.
Great pictures. I had three of my bikes out and wasn't riding any of them ! The broken ribs from layout would not let me ride. But I will be soon!
