Well got the flyer in the mail the other day, and it looks like there will be a 2012 Renfro Valley Dual Sport ride. I hope that this year will be as fun as the last. I'm sure it will be. So who's in say I, and where are you staying? I'll be at the campground in spot 28 black 2500 with puma travel trailer if your there stop in and say hi.

As of right now there are 3 bikes in my truck. This is one of those rides were you never know when it will be over. I just wish there was something we could do to help keep it alive, but I'm in Indiana.

The flyer says NO GPS. Can anyone explain what they mean? Do they mean no GPS files are available? Or do they mean you are not allowed to have your bike equiped with a GPS during the ride which would keep anyone from saving tracks for later?

If it is like before, it means route will be on a roll chart. I always took a GPS in case of getting lost or needing to get back to camp ground.

Since part of the route is private land they probably don't want you recording the route with a GPS.

I have always thought it would be fun to have a GPS just to see where you went all day. I haven't done much research but I'm sure there is one where you can have it put a way point like every 5 seconds or something like that. I understand why they don't want guys doing that, but it be fun to see the route.

Four of us coming down from NY, CT & MA. If it's anything like the Baby Burr last year, it should be a good time. Any hills down there? :D How many riders usually show up?

motogo, you guys will like it. I have ridden it once, but it was plenty fun and challenging. Not a typical DS ride IMO. Definitely very offload oriented, single track.

There are other trails around there as well if you guys have time to check them out.

Anyone know what the weathers doing down there?
