We were on Black Bear Pass just a little bit above the Steps when Adventure Girl decided to show us just how difficult Adventure Riding can be...

For next year if you guys go I sat down and did the GPX files:

    (Right click and select save-as)

Corckscrew & Black Bear Loop, back by way of Imogene Lead by modette
    Rating: Easy to Difficult
Corckscrew = Moderate, Some steep sections
Black Bear = Easy up to the "Steps" (you can turn around before them). The Steps is the difficult section with sever drop to your left. Walking big bikes down might be the way to go. After the "steps" its not hard at all but there is still sever drops should you screw up.
Imogene = Moderate to Difficult, Steep rocky section.

I was enjoying the ride up Cinnamon Pass following Rat734. It turns out he either doesn't like people following him or he developed a very effective method to avoid being passed. I added a little stop action to show the flight of the meteor as it approached planet WildTurkey.

Chiming in a little late, but thanks for hosting this event!
I had a good ride on Friday with Calvin, Rob, Mark and a few others. Got to show them some of my favorite riding including Ophir Pass, Last Dollar Road, the long way around the Wilson range and Bolam Pass. Long day, no spills, no rain.
Saturday I spent the day with Steve and Kim repeating part of Fridays ride. We ended up being stuck in Telluride waiting for the electric to come back on so that I could fuel up.
I ended up getting some gas from a fellow inmate (Mitch maybe?) as he had a rotopax full and didn't need it. Thanks a bunch. Sounds like I would have been on hold till after 1pm.
If anyone knows how to contact my fuel helper, let me know. I owe him a six pack!!
And no, it wasn't a rescue as I could have just sat there for another two hours and made it to the gas station on my own accord. Just sayin':deal
