For Sale: 2012 Suzuki V-Strom DL650. 23,554 miles currently. (May go up a tad as I take a few goodbye trips around the hood).

I am the second owner. The PO put most of the miles on it. I bought it in June of 2018 and have only added about 1,700 miles, all on road. I am a small business owner, which means I work all the time and don’t have time to ride. Now, with the virus shutting my business down, I have the time, but I don’t have the money to justify keeping such a beautiful bike.

PO rode it as it should be so there are a few scratches and nicks here and there. Nothing that you can see without an up-close inspection. It’s got a few more miles than a few V-Stroms I see for sale on here, but the upgrades are all there and there is nothing needed but a rider who can take advantage of this awesome bike.

Title is clean and in my hand. Price - $4,300 OBO. Bike is in Northeast Georgia. No trades (unless you have a Ducati Desert Sled ;-)

Full maintenance documentation from the PO since new. All keys and spares. Side cases and top box are not keyed the same.

I bought this particular bike for one reason: it has all the upgrades I would have done already installed. Here’s the complete list, installed by the PO, with the few things I added, listed below.

Madstad tinted windshield with Madstad adjustable bracket
    Barkbuster Storm Handguards
    ProTaper SE ATV Hi Handlebars
Dash Panel w/Volt Meter, 12 volt & Powerlet Outlets
ADV Monster Aux Lights w/Dimmer wired into Hi Beam
    ABS On/Off Switch
Eastern Beaver PC-8 Aux Fuse Panel
Eastern Beaver H4 Dual Headlight Relay Kit
    Givi Crash Bars
    Givi Pannier Mounts
    Givi E360N Panniers
    Adventure Tech Peg Lowering Brackets
Adventure Tech Side Stand Enlarger Plate
    Adventure Tech Fender Riser Kit
    Tusk Aluminum Foot Pegs
    Enduro Guardian Skid Plate
    Enduro Guardian Radiator Guard
    E-Bay Shorty Levers
Cogent Dynamics DDC Fork Cartridges & Springs
    Sasquatch Modified OE Shock Upgrade
    K & N Air Filter
K & N Oil Filters and Mobil 10w40 Synthetic Oil always used
Chain and Sprockets replaced at 18,901
    Rear Brake Pads replaced

Stator Recall Done, no other recalls required
Valves checked at 15,000 miles, in spec

    Added by Me

PO had a Coo Case top box which I replaced with a larger Givi

Ravetech DL650 Accessory Bar Mount with Ram X phone holder

SW Motech Engage Tank Bag with matching quick disconnect tank ring

Removed Up & Back Riser and Replaced with a 1” Riser (to clear tank bag)

Oxford Touring Heated Grips (yet to be installed)
Brand New Shinko 704 / 705 tires, less than 100 miles on them.

What a time to be selling a motorcycle. Did you see that I'd take a Ducati Desert Sled in trade, with cash on my end?

    . . . . Bump and a price drop.

I will make a offer but want to see if tammy does by the end of her 2 weeks. Just a heads up, the first number in the offer is going to be a 3.

Inexperienced using this except to look. Bike still for sale? Live in Iowa and may not be reasonable to consider, but have 2009 and like your setup. Thanks. Jeryeast@gmail.com

Still available. Rode it a bit today and plan on riding it again tomorrow. Lots of inmates buy and sell across country. Fly and ride or shipping are the two most common. I sold my Tiger 955i to a gentleman from Virginia who had his wife drive him down here and he rode the bike home with her following. Woman bought my Yamaha Road Star 1700 who lived in NC. She road pillon behind her husband on the same bike over here and they road home looking like twinsies.

It appears you are around an hour drive from ATL | Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. If doing a fly and ride purchase could you bring the bike to a location close to ATL?

Sure, that's not a problem at all. Or, I could pick you up at the airport and bring you up here to take a look and even stay the night if needed.
