Please send me your T-Shirt sizes. I will most likely order them in May. I will post the new design sometime in April. Thanks Jesse
http://www.butlermaps.com/ A huge thanks to Butler Maps for providing maps for the Flying Monkey Adventure Rally. I just received the Utah BDR (Back Country Discovery Route) map and it is awesome. I highly recommend that you visit the Butler Maps website and pick one up prior to the event. I am very impressed. Especially with the ability to scan the map and have videos pop up that describe the routes. Butler has done an amazing job with their maps! Very cool! I am hoping to explore the entire BDR route in late August for those that want to join! Most of the trails that we will be exploring in Southern Utah are on the map! Pick it up!
If you plan on bringing an RV(and want hookups) or renting a cabin at Zion Ponderosa, please make your reservations as soon as possible to ensure that there is one available. Dry Camping is always available and reservations for dry camping can be made anytime. Thanks, Jesse
Wow, looks like fun. And considering this is in my back yard, count me in! T-Med. GeoMoto, would love to join you for any early recon rides as well. Looking for locals to ride with. thanks!
Heya StG you must be in let me gues St gezzy? where at and what do you ride I've prolly seen ya out and about at some point.
Where from/ to? I had a route i was thinking about as well Jesse. still looking at timing for it though.
PRE-RIDECORRECTION: I have been asked to run in the Ragner Relay that is being held at the Zion Ponderosa April 26 and 27. I won't be joining the pre-ride that weekend. Sorry! I will shoot for May 11th.
You want to take lead for that weekend? How about a Toroweap loop for the locals and anyone that wants to come down. I can help organize it, I just need someone to lead everyone out to Toroweap. We could start at the Colorado City gas station so you don't have to ride to Hurricane and back.
As of right now, I could do that.hell we could meet up at the gas station in Apple Valley If that work for people.
Mike and I spent the night in Toroweep a couple days ago while transiting from Canyon de Chelly to Death Valley. Went out via Mt. Trumbull and Elbow Canyon to Mesquite. Man, there's a lot of great stuff to explore back there.
