I like that so much better without the gray side covers....................

Great picture! Honda might have sold many more if they used your picture instead of these uninspired pics.

This is the best picture I have ever seen of a CB1100 Deluxe. I snagged it from the CB1100 forum a few years ago.

If I had unlimited $ and space, I’d still have my DLX.

I'm ok with my grey covers, but agree that the color-matched ones look a bit better. I also prefer the all-silver engines and cast wheels of the earlier CB's.

If it weren't for that little matter of them being almost $6000, I'd have a Whitehouse conversion on my '17...

Agreed. When this bike first came out I couldn't believe how much better it looked in person, compared to it's photos.

A DLX model is the perfect classic bike with those requirements. Just gorgeous.

you might miss the power of your ZRX over the CB, the Honda is a probably about thirty-five hp down on that Kaw, but power isn't everything, and the CB gets the job done, just a bit more 'sedately'.

Well said. I think I have had mine for almost five years now, and I am usually a 1-2 year guy. I just like the bike, I've thought about replacing it, but there's really nothing I'd rather have.

Like Dao, I can't believe mine is 7 years old now! Still a great bike to just hop on and go for a ride for no reason at all. I may have posted these pictures before a while back. I've probably also previously posted a list of all the bolt-on mods I've done to mine, but here's a list in case anyone missed them:

    Japanese market CB1100 low bars.
    Low profile mirrors.
    Dart Flyscreen.
    Staintune slip-on.
2017 CB1100 FI covers (I think Dao from this thread clued me in on this).
    Corbin seat.
    Over Racing billet sprocket cover.
Japan market OEM accessory chrome chain guard.
    OEM Honda rear rack.
Custom cut 3M clearbra film on rear of tank and side knee cutouts (did myself).

This is only an occasional rider for me and believe it or not I've only washed it once in the time I've owned it. I do dust it and shine it up with some Honda Spray Shine once in a while. Yes, I'm a little embarrassed that I treat a motorcycle this way, but I'm not afraid to get my other bikes dirty so don't be too hard on me.

I don´t own a CB but I´ve seen those kits online and thought they looked amazing. Of all the colours the one you have is my favourite. Congratulations, that is just an awesome looking bike.
