These days i 'll buy my next light enduro motorbike, (i sold my CRF250x-09) but i 'm confused about

    - Just now i can buy 2013 KTM 350exc Sixdays (germany sticker set) (its already in stock) or
    - I can wait a few months for 2013 CRF 450x (2013-450r already selling and X version's outside usually totally same to R version)

and next problem, if i choice KTM six days, which one is better so 350exc or 450 or 500. Tell to truth first i want o buy 450cc, but 450 and 500 six days out of stock in Turkey, therefore i must wait a long time for that.

I need your thinks too much. Thx.

Similar but not the same exactly. I've ridden the 350SXf back to back with my 505SXf on a track. It gives up nothing in accelleration to the 505 which flat out hauls the mail. I expect the EXC will be the same. Steering on the 350 was worlds better/easier/more planted than the 505. Cut & thrust the 350, the bike just went where you point it. Flickability was awesome. The 505 will push, I'm guessing rotating mass at play here. The big bore bike likes longer lines, the 350 could stop on a dime and blast off. The 505 took longer to slow down so you could outbrake it with the 350. The 350 could hit any line and I barely had to adjust my style. I'm not sure you give up anything with the 350 except maybe highway thump for long distance streety DS rides.

I'd replace my 530exc with a 350exc for true off road without hesitation. For more DSing, I'd wait for the 500 and the Honda wouldn't even be considered.

Altough KTm is the current market leader in Turkey , i would reccomend CRF 450x it is waay cheaper than KTM ( 13.000€ vs 10.000. $) Also as an ex crf owner you should know that the Honda is un breakable ( & has longer inspection hour ).Honda candir diyorum :))

Buy the 2012 or 13 Beta 350,400,450,498 RR. Street legal and every bit a contender! Personally would go Euro rather than Honda!

A 2013 450X Honda,at least here in the states,is the same as a 2008 450X Honda, hardly cutting edge. And they ARE heavy. A friend went through 3 sets of valves of various sorts in his before giving up and putting it up for sale.
They arent at all like an old XR that runs for ever.

A KTM500 or an older 530 makes a great dualsport bike for mainly dirt,if you want to do a lot of long trips/pavement,Id just get a DR650 or something like that.

    Welcome to No.Va...expect delays
My 05 Honda 450X was bullet proof , but felt really heavy in the tight s/t . Also was a pain to try to tag here in Va They are easy to work on for a 4T& parts are readily avail. Resale value was excellent, I had guys lined up to buy mine. I now have the Husaberg FE 570, its street legal & will rip the ass out of just about anything it comes across. It revs like an F1 engine, feels almost as light as my 2502T, Handling is nimble & precise & instills confidence. Once my fuel pump issues were sorted out I am very happy with it. Husaberg paid for 2 fuel pumps. Down sides , limited fuel range ,yes there are aftermarket add ons, but not easily or cheaply done. i am gonna pass on this. Carrying capacity can be dealt with easier than fuel but a rear rack cannot be added to the plastic subframe. I dont care about any of that, IMHO its the best performing D/S ever produced..For the other side of the coin, long distance off road exploring , i bought a very nice 05 KTM 625. Fuel tanks , racks , anything you can think of. Its already out there & easily installed. That said , they have discontinued the 70 degree engine so that may not be an option for you.
