Yes, what did you think it was. A motorcycle rally?

And, what difference does it make since you're not showing up AGAIN?

You're thinking of Taliesin, which isn't very far from Boaz.

But, I'm going to be in southern Utah at the end of September. If you're anywhere close we can have a private MOTOTCYCLE rally.

If you're a Frank Lloyd Wright fan, you can see his first-ever commercial building, right in Richland Center. For free. You can probably buy it for a song.

I saw it last year. Didn't we go over there for lunch? Mexican place?

Nata, if we don't make it to the get together, where are you going in southern Utah? Are you coming by Carbondale? We have tent space here, mainly inside and we still have a house in Moab. We would love to see you.

The building FLW designed is around the corner from the (fake) Mexican place.

Last year, we bought steaks. This year, we'll have steaks from my steers. What do you think about roasting up a big chunk (big: 15 pounds) of Chuck Roast. On an open fire. Parilla style.

Who is doing the fire dance while the parilla is cooking?

I don't think we have any more fire dancers since Dwayne, the Ragin' Cajun, hasn't shown up for a few years. Maybe those burns he suffered when he fell face first into the fire pit were more serious than he let on. :D

You, me and Max. Do we need more?

And, BTW, look what I just picked up for the rally:

You now have no earthly reason not to come.

How could I forget our guest of honor for this, the 6th ALARR? daveg!!!!!!!!

I think DaveG is a strong tentative. My buddy Conor is a definite. Hectoglider? Are you riding down? I'll be there no matter what.

My main travel KLR has some serious noise coiming from the balancer chain I believe. I want to open it up and look before it goes anywhere.
I also have a pretty bad back ache the last while. I wish I could hit the rally but the way things are right now, I cant even venture down to VBR.

The only time Chris & I rode our bikes to a larr was when it was 1 mile from where we live. Driving is awesome, relaxing, etc. Save the bike riding time for south of the border.

10-4 . I don't believe anyone going to LARR has to prove anything by arriving on a motorcycle . I wish I still had my Pontiac Firefly. One liter engine got better mileage than any bike I had, and I could eat cheeseburgers on the way while talking to the brother.
Opened up the motor today: spring broken ( eagle mike spring had been cut & shortened 40,000km ago)
Plenty of slack in the chain, glad I caught it before shit piled up

Bikes got 85000 km on it with no engine work. Just valve spec'd & an occasional glance at the doo spring. Putting in the round spring this time.
