From the top of Black Bear, which proved to be a bit too much for the Super Tenere's.

Near the top of Engineer pass. Wish I wouldn't have left our rain liners at base camp..42 degrees at the top and drenched, but had a blast anyway!

I had a lot of fun hanging out in Silverton, even if it was cut short by bike trouble. Big thanks to the crew I rode with (sorry I forgot your names) for hauling my sorry ass back to camp, and to Kim for hauling my sorry ass back to Albuquerque. No idea what's wrong with the bike yet, I'm hoping they'll have some news by midweek once they look at it.

Hopefully I'll be back next year, probably with my truck. :lol3

    Hey Pat,

Good to ride with you yesterday. Beware the ghost of Wager Gulch.

Here is a little reminder of good will from the RMAR event.

Too bad you didn't get to ride with us today as Chris and I rode some really fun stuff today.

Hope your bike is healed up quick.

Thanks for the offer, but the bike is sitting in the Albuquerque dealership. My suspicion is something with the charging system, either the R/R or the stator. I'm slightly mechanically inclined and I know just enough about electronics to be dangerous, but I'll let the guys with all the right diagnostic tools sort this one out. :deal

Ok..... Bummer. I looked around for your bike in camp this morning, and did not see ya. :D. That is too bad. I am not sure if it still is under warranty.... But I wrote this short trouble shoot of your charging system.....

The stators have been known to fail on these, due to overheat, and as such I am running a mosfet R/R.
That thread can be seen here....

Awesome weekend! Enjoyed meeting new people and riding a bunch of new singletrack, and showing the "goods" around Rico to more riders. Last night was a ball in town, maybe I imbibed a bit too much...straight vodka shots at the Captain's place really did me in :freaky but all was well in the world this morning as I rolled out of camp!

We lost a large set of keys 2" ring with a yellow bottle opener on it. Fell off the truck somewhere between RMAR and the Mill tour. If found Call Kevin 505-363-9874.
