So,you got to do another"down the hill rescue" this year!!
I thought I heard you guys asking who was bringing the beer for Black Bear. I thought to myself maybe tomorrow, but you meant that night. I'm with ya, it does seem easier when you can't see what happens if you make a HUGE mistake.... Good video.
Toby didn't mention there was video footage. His story of how they rescued the bike was a good one....
That's awesome video. If I'd have been on my 450 or 400 I would have wanted to go with you. I bet Black Bear is even awesomer at night.
I REALLY want to come back on a little bike.
Man, black bear at night! Hardcore! And I was hesitant to do it when wet.

It was nice meeting you. I really enjoyed hanging out with other two wheeled vagabonds. I hope to see everyone again next year!
I made it home this evening after 14 days and 4850 miles.
no doubt :eek1
Very cool, wish I could of been sitting in town when the lights appeared over ingram. "yea, I know those guys, friends of mine actually" as everyone is saying WTF in unison.
Yeah, you have friends? I would be saying WTF as well...bummed I missed the show last night!
Thanks for supporting us again Woody!! We missed picking on you for sure!! hope all gets better for you. Zach did a great job of working with the riders, tightening spokes and even stole my Scrambler cause he thought it needed wheels just cause they wobbled a little! Can't wait to get it out of hock and try 'em out!
Hope to see you for sure next year!
Thanks!!!!!! RMAR Board.
Did anyone get a pic of those hard working guys cooking those great steaks for everyone?
9 mins in is where the side hill starts

You can find all the pics HERE
Well, it was another awesome event. My family and I had a blast and will be back!!
My little story.....
Went for a fantastic ride on Friday with some old and new friends. Silverton to Lake City via Cinnamon Pass, back over Engineer to California to Hurricane and back to Silverton. Awesome day, awesome people, and awesome views. As we got to Engineer Pass, which is one of my favorite views anywhere, I knew that I wanted to take everyone over to the little point just past the official top of the pass. Those that have been there know it, 360 degree views that are an absolute must see. As we pull in, I am once again struck with the beauty of the area.....
As I am looking around, I notice an odd random piece of paper over in the scree rocks. I walked over to pick it up,
as I thought that it might be a piece of trash......but there saw a rock holding it down, that seemed odd.
Sheet music of some kind.............
Totally made my day!
To whomever placed this, my sincere thank-you for doing this......I shared it with several other riders as they
came up, and everyone was touched. Thanks!!
A final shot or two.....
Thanks Abbi for everything!
Thanks Silverton, see you next year!
