I got this from another inmate specifically for a trip out west, I completed that trip a few weeks ago. 5100 miles with lots of grins and ZERO issues. Gas mileage averaged 41mpg over the two week trip.

It handled everything I asked of it - pavement, groomed gravel, loose gravel, double-track, sand, dirt and a little mud (it was a handful in the mud - it's a heavy bike).

The Jesse luggage is the best luggage I've ever used, the panniers & top box swallowed up ALOT of stuff.

Why sell it? - My "big" trip is complete and I won't be able to do another for a couple of years, plus 28 hours after returning home, I broke my ankle while on a side-by-side ride. So........it's time to find this beautiful beast another home instead of letting it sit and to help pay for the extra hardware that's now in my foot. The Big T has a fresh oil change & should have enough tire tread left to get'cha most anywhere.

Jesse panniers - the 10" set
Jesse top box - 45L version
Rear shock resprung (1000# spring ) and revalved by NorWest Suspension.
    Various AltRider guarding
    Yoshimura exhaust
    Pigtail for heated gear
    Heated grips
    Switched fog/driving lights
Currently riding on Michelin Anakee Adventure, installed at 23,088 miles - they appear to have another 2500 miles or so left on them.
I have a bunch of the OEM stuff that the previous owner replaced, since it was outfitted with all the aftermarket goodies that I wanted, I haven't really looked at what all is there, but it's several items.

Maintenance @ 23,088 miles (prior to trip):
New sparkplugs - old ones looked excellent though
    New battery - Z14S
    Final drive oil change
    Checked/Cleaned air filter
    Checked coolant condition

The tankbag and soft tailbag in the trip pics are not included in the sale, I'm posting them just to show the panniers mounted - I removed the panniers at cleanup & stored them inside.

No, I don't think they got factory cruise until 2014.
It does have a Kaoko throttle lock on it - I failed to list that as I never use it.

Nope, but the price of that service can be factored in.........if that's what it takes to make a deal happen :deal

    Bump & updates:
Big T is currently scheduled into the local dealer for the 26,000 mile valve check/adjust and to address the throttle-by-wire recall issue that the dealer reported is still outstanding.

You said switched fog/driving lights. Does that mean you upgraded them? How are they at night?

"Switched" as in controlled by a switch :D .........well........technically, they're controlled by a relay & the relay is controlled by a switch. I probably needed to use a different word............anyway..............you can sorta see the switch in the speedometer/odometer pic, I mostly leave'em on all the time so I can't really say how effective they are.

They look pretty bright in pictures :lol3
