Thanks for sharing - nice video! DV is a blast...got to plan for the next one now that we have the dates.

If anyone's interested, I'll probably try to make the big loop again - Panamint to Hot Springs to Steel Pass to Eureka Dunes to Furnace Creek to Mengal/Goler and back to Panamint. Or maybe in reverse this time. Get in shape for this one...

    Congratulations Ersin!!

Of course babies don't always arrive on schedule, but I wouldn't expect you'll be going anywhere in March ..... or April .... etc. :lol3

Dang .. one day after the date is posted and EVERYTHING - including all tent sites - is sold out at Panamint Springs.

What are our lodging and/or camping options ?
... all we really need is a place to park the truck/bike trailer ...
    ... and maybe a 4x8 spot for a tent ...

That's because joel already reserved everything for the event. Once he posts the new thread, you will be able to reserve a spot through it.

    Don't delay though!

I'm REALLY looking forward to the next one. Was one of the best times I've ever had on a bike, including riding out there trying to keep up with Shooby :lol3 Great video and thanks for posting it up.

I may possibly attend this rally as it looks like a great way to meet more riders and ride new (to me) dirt roads. I definitely plan on attending the Death Valley DAZE event as it fits into my work schedule better. If at all possible, I will try to attend both events, although the end of March usually provides some of the best backcountry ski conditions up here in Alaska. I have been to Death Valley 5 times, in a car, and have done a lot of hiking so I am really looking forward to riding here.

I recently completed a long, solo trip riding one of my DR650s from Anchorage to Pahrump, where my bike is now in storage. My bike is currently set-up more for highway riding with a larger front sprocket and Metzler Tourance tires instead of knobbies, so I will be a little more limited on what dirt roads I can ride. However, I was surprised at how well the Tourances handled on dirt during my ride through Alaska and Canada. My bike and I have been up the Dalton Hwy to Deadhorse and up the Dempster Hwy to Inuvik, and (this summer) up the infamous hill at Bella Coola, BC, so we have experience "getting dirty" and having fun!

    Happy trails!

    Ersin,

Enter all the pools trying to figure out what day your son will be born. You pick the first day of DV Noobs, make sure that Jimmy Lewis will be there. Put G on the back of his bike, 30 minutes later she will be giving birth, and you can score big $$. :rofl

All those riders that don't have a Y chromosone don't pile on! It is funny to those of us that haven't/won't give birth. :eek1

EDIT: Yes I know Sopas, no brownies for me. :cry
